Assistant Editor DVD reels.
*Catching up on 4/2/13*
These are from 2007, as I was leaving Consulate to go freelance. Â I can almost say with 100% certainty that i will NEVER assist an editor again. Â Those days are over. Â I did my time as an assistant and put in the ridiculous hours and took the abuse, blah blah blah. Â I also learned a hell of a lot. Â But I’m not ready to be someone’s bitch again.
Spots on the reel:
- Calvin Klein Watches “Closeups”
- Kenneth Cole “RSVP”
- L’Oreal Feria “Have You Gone There- Milla”
- Verizon Wireless “Chocolate”
- Dior Higher Energy “Sky”
- Kohl’s “Living Posters”
- AT&T Go Phone “Everyone Go”
- Clairol Natural Instincts “Megawatts”
- Motorola “Heritage”

Cute little felt box.
*Catching up on 4/2/13*
For some reason I’m having a hard time getting rid of this little box. Â For the past 3 years it’s sat up in the office with the same detritus in it. Â A few screws, a couple of nails, a penny, a push pin, a collar straightener and a small rock.
I don’t know if it’s the green color or the softness of the felt or the cuteness of the stitching, but I’ve hesitated on making this a Thing many times. Â But tonight is the night. Â I’m jumping in and not looking back.
I know I’ll miss this little box, but I also know I can move on.

2012 New York Jets ticket stubs.
*Catching up on 4/2/13*
Another purge from the NY Jets collection.  These are the ticket stubs for all the games I attended for the 2012 season.  I only attended 6 regular season home games this year, which is a testament to my waining love for this team.  I used to be a die-hard 8 game attendee.  I voluntarily sold my Thanksgiving night Pats ticket, which would have been unheard of in years past.
The highlight of this season was taking Anabelle to the Giants-Jets pre-season game. Â She inquired about the cheerleaders the whole time we were there, and although I was a little pissed at the time, I realize now she was watching the most entertaining part of the gameday experience.
Let’s see how the team will pull themselves out of their rut in 2013…
