*Catching up on 4/2/13*
These little bastards really broke my heart. Â They were some of the best speakers I have used with my computer, and were such a workhorse for so many years. Â But eventually they started to crackle and pop when turned on, and would cut out for no apparent reason. Â I don’t think I had them for more than 3 years before this started.
It got to the point where I found the sweet spot on the power knob (power knob- problem right there), and would unplug the speakers when finished instead of turning them off to avoid the risk of disrupting the stasis of power knob balance.
Then then just stopped. Â I cleaned them a few times, but no luck. Â I hate to see them go, but at this point, I’m ready for a hassle-free upgrade.
